Marisa Tomei is joining the Empire cast for Season 2 as a billionaire hip-hop fan who loves beautiful women.

She’s so beautiful! Empire has recruited a familiar face to recur throughout Season 2 of the Fox hit — no, it’s not Oprah (yet). Oscar winner Marisa Tomei is set to play a super-rich woman caught up in the Lyon family drama in upcoming episodes of the hit series.

According to Deadline, the My Cousin Vinny star will play Mimi Whiteman, “a demanding venture capitalist” and Forbes list billionaire who loves “hip-hop music, social trends, high-end fashion and beautiful women.”

Intriguing! No word on whether she’ll go toe-to-toe with everyone’s favorite ex-con, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), but Tomei is set to appear in several episodes of the show.

Tomei, whose most recent TV work was an arc on the FX firefighter series Rescue Me, is set to play famous feminist Gloria Steinem in an HBO miniseries.

Empire Season 2 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
