While host Eisenberg was reciting his monologue, Andy Samberg-as-Mark Zuckerberg walked on stage, hoodie and all.

The two acted out a few socially awkward moments, which prompted Zuckerberg, who was watching backstage with Lorne Michaels, to observe, "Those guys are such nerds! I invented poking."

Zuckerberg, 26, then walked on stage to join his two impersonators.

"Wait, have you two not met?" asked Samberg.

"No," they both replied.

"Awkward!," yelled Samberg.

Although it may have been uneasy, Eisenberg was quick to break the ice by asking if Zuckerberg had seen The Social Network.

His answer: "It was interesting."
