Pia Toscano Signs With Interscope Records

American Idol's Pia Toscano is ready to step into the recording studio!
Three months after Us Weekly broke the news that the 22-year-old former Idol finalist was in talks to sign with Interscope Records, the label confirmed she's officially on their roster as of Wednesday.

"I am thrilled to be joining the Interscope and 19 Recordings family," Toscano tells Us in a statement. "[Interscope Geffen A&M Chairman] Jimmy Iovine was an amazing mentor during my time on Idol and I'm looking forward to working with him and everyone at Interscope Records and 19 Recordings. This is a dream come true."

Booted from the FOX series in April, Toscano will use the show's summer concert tour to gain exposure her first single, "This Time."
The track will officially be released digitally on July 12.
