When Chelsea Handler introduced the Jersey Shore cast at Sunday's VMAs in L.A., she was invited by The Situation to join them in the hot tub.

"I'm from Jersey," Handler, 35, said. "I've been in a jacuzzi, but thank you."
Responded Snooki, "What are you, scared, bitch? Get in here!"

Not one to back down from a challenge, Handler joined Snooki, The Situation, J-Woww and DJ Pauly D in the hot tub. "I hope that's a meatball!" she joked as she sat on DJ Pauly D's lap.

When the comic emerged from the jacuzzi after the break, she said she felt "disgusting" before revealing a faux baby bump.
The Situation's witty response? "We've got a situation!"
