An eager reporter (voice of Jamie Bell) teams up with a drunken seaman (Andy Serkis) to find a treasure. Steven Spielberg packs this adaptation of the children's books with eye-popping 3-D animation, which isn't always a good thing. Sure, the dizzying flying, jumping and fighting impress -- but the bells and whistles come at the expense of multidimensional characters and an engrossing plot. Just hurry and find the money, Tintin!
