What a workaholic! More often than not, Sarah Michelle Gellar's Sydney Roberts may be the brains behind the successful campaigns churned out by her fictional ad agency Roberts & Roberts, but her TV dad, Simon (Robin Williams) is itching to get his hard-working daughter out of the office and on the tropical vacation that she deserves.
The only problem? Roberts & Roberts is faced with a last-minute crisis moments before Sydney is due to depart -- they might lose the burrito account! -- and Sydney can't help but go into panic mode and threaten to call off her trip to Hawaii.
"Sydney: Bon voyage, Godspeed, cheerio . . . get out of here!" says Simon as his daughter steps onto the elevator, protesting, in a preview from the Thursday, Oct. 17 episode. "End of the business day! Your vacation starts immediately. You should be doing shooters by the pool by now!"
Once she learns the major account is in jeopardy, Sydney has faith in her colleagues -- it's her father she's worried about. Simon tries to convince Sydney the firm will remain in good hands.
"I'm the 11th hour guy, I live for this," says Simon. "We're cutting to the good part of the movie: No fall from glory, no montage of me punching a locker full of meat. It's me, leading a group of inner-city kids to spelling bee glory . . . in a clown nose! When have I ever let you down?"
Finally, Sydney decides to let the gang do their jobs without her. "Fine! Everybody gets to stay and work, and I have to go to Hawaii. This is so unfair!" she fumes.
