Reese Witherspoon and Rob Pattinson have definite chemistry.
In a just-released still from the upcoming film Water for Elephants, Pattinson, 24, leans in for a passionate kiss; in another shot, he sensually caresses the small of Witherspoon's bare back.
(Witherspoon, 34, previously costarred with the Twilight star in 2004's Vanity Fair.)
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, Water for Elephants may be Pattinson's best performance to date. "He worked really hard," Witherspoon said. "He looks great in the movie, too."
Pattinson plays Jacob Jankowski, a veterinary student who begins training circus animals after losing his parents in a car accident; Witherspoon portrays his love interest, Marlena.
Water for Elephants hits theaters April 22.
