DWTS' Shannen Doherty: No Weirdness With Pamela Despite Shared Ex

Dancing With the Stars contestants Shannen Doherty and Pamela Anderson share more than a past penchant for drama: both 90s TV icons were briefly married to Rick Salomon.
Salamon, 42, wed Doherty, 38, in 2002 in a union that was annulled in 2003; he and Anderson, 42, enjoyed wedded bliss from 2007 to 2008 (their marriage was also annulled.) (Salamon's other famous ex: Paris Hilton, with whom he starred in 1 Night in Paris, the 2004 sex tape that he sold and distributed before Hilton sued him.)

"I don't think either one of us really think of that as a factor at all," Doherty said Monday during a chat for KIIS-FM's On-Air with Ryan Seacrest.
"Pamela's gonna be sexy, sexy, sexy," Doherty added of her dance rival. "And so much fun to watch."
The 90210 actress explained that she watched the Baywatch star rehearse on Sunday. "She did amazing...She's got that body...It was fun, she did a great job."

Doherty admitted to Ryan Seacrest that she is "nervous and freaking out" and "terrified" for her first live dance performance. "I break out in hives...I don't know what I'm gonna do about about this. I can't I can't!"
The novice dancer explained that she's competing as a tribute to her father, who suffered a massive stroke last Christmas.

"We kind of struck a deal," she said. "He's gonna go in there and work really hard on regaining his speech and mobility, and I was gonna get over my fear of a live audience."
As she's trained, the actress has noticed an unexpected change in her body. "I've gained five pounds!" she said. "Everybody says it's muscle. I don't see it. I eat so much now it's insane."

Shannen has had her diva and bad girl rep her WHOLE career for a reason - she IS a diva and a terror on any set. She is now trying to change her image to a 'nice girl' and get more work. She's using her poor sick dad as a way to try and garner sympathy from people. It's not going to work. We hated Brenda then, and we still hate her now! Dancing with the "Stars" PULEASE. Who is the star here? a washed up baywatch babe, a gay bachelor, the mom from hell... I'm voting for Buzz. Oh, who am I kidding like I'm going to watch that crap.
I think this is kind of nice, actually. Especially Shannen's comments about Pam. I had completely forgotten they'd both been married to the same guy. I'm surprised the tabloids haven't picked up on this more.

I'm rooting for Shannen because of her dad. My dad also suffered a stroke last Christmas and I know exactly what she's going through.
I would rather see Shannen and Pamela stay on the show over Jake and Kate! WHY are they on this season...they're NOT celebrities! They need to get over their obsession with the spotlight and go back to the real world...they've overstayed their time in the 'real world'. Seriously...get a life! :( Go Shannen, Pamela, Nicole and Evan! I can't wait to see them on the dance floor tonight!!
And Kate is going to win against this two real celebrities. HAHAHA Nope!!!
