‘Teen Mom 2′ Recap: Leah Messer Wins Back Custody, Jenelle Evans’ Boyfriend Worries Nathan Griffith Lives in a ‘Whorehouse’

Everything’s coming up Leah Messer! The West Virginia native took home a major win in her custody case against ex-husband Corey Simms during the Monday, May 2, episode of MTV’s Teen Mom 2. Elsewhere in the USofA, her costars dealt with insane drama: Not only did Chelsea Houska try to get more child-support money from Adam Lind and go wedding-venue scouting with her new man, Jenelle Evans‘ boyfriend got into a heated text battle with her ex.

Oh, and Kailyn Lowry said bye to her husband for a whopping six months, and it was basically the saddest thing ever.

Chelsea Checks Out Wedding Venues, Calls Adam “Disgusting”

When it comes to Adam, Chelsea’s attitude is basically, “Bitch better have my money.” The soon-to-be-married star was sick of her baby daddy paying the bare minimum in child support, and arranged a hearing to increase his monthly check.

“I just don’t even want to think of his disgusting face,” Chelsea told a friend while gearing up for the big day. Fortunately, Chels didn’t have to gaze upon Adam’s apparently unruly mug because he didn’t bother to show up. Even so, it was determined that Chelsea’s ex should increase his payment to $1K a month, which he’ll presumably be less-than-thrilled about. “He’s paying $200 dollars a month right now. Less than that,” Chelsea told her mom.

In other news, Chelsea and her fiancé, Cole DeBoer, went wedding-venue trolling together, which basically involved Cole saying “Oh, jeez” a bunch and being generally adorable/Midwestern.

Leah Wins Back Custody From Corey

Raise a glass to Leah for her parenting perseverance! Despite a huge custody blow earlier in the season, the single mom’s determination to gain back time with her daughters paid off when the judge awarded 50/50 custody between Corey and Leah.

Surprisingly, the camo-lovin’ dad didn’t seem too upset about losing a day to his ex, and even admitted that Leah’s doing a lot better in the mommy department. “I feel pretty good about it. I think it’ll work out,” Corey told his dad on the phone. “She’s got a lot f–king done a lot more than what she used to … If she starts going downhill and has issues and all that, we’re gonna pursue it again, I guess.”

Leah and Corey ended up having a sweet chat about their shared custody agreement, with Corey telling Leah, “I’m tired of going to court … I never wanted you to not be their mom.”

These two will definitely have to learn to work together because their daughter Ali’s muscular dystrophy — while pretty stable as of this episode — is an ongoing challenge.

David Worries Nathan Lives in a “Whorehouse”

David to the rescue? Thanks to her iffy feelings on Nathan Griffith, Jenelle asked her current boyfriend, David Eason, to take over communication with him, which was … um, awkward. David ended up taking Jenelle’s son Kaiser to an hour-long playdate with Nathan, and naturally complained about him bitterly.

“I wasn’t really impressed by him or anything. He talked about himself a lot,” David mused. “I would think he’d be bigger than what he is. Especially his little chicken legs.”

David clearly didn’t want Jenelle to be in touch with her ex (though she told a friend that he “trusts me all the way”), which led to the two bros facing off via text. Basically, David asked Nathan for Walmart receipts proving that he had baby gear, and also requested his home address. Nathan responded by saying he doesn’t trust Jenelle with his whereabouts, which sent David into a rage. “You can’t just take your child to some random spot,” he complained. “What if he lives in a whorehouse or something?” K.

In other news, Nathan visited a lawyer to chat about getting full custody, and the attorney had this to say about their situation: “What a mess. I don’t even know where to start.” Preach, friend. Oh, and by the way, it doesn’t look like those charges against Jenelle are going to be dropped anytime soon. In the words of the lady herself, “Bring it on.”

Javi Gets Deployed, Kailyn Worries About ISIS

Javi Marroquin is leaving on a jet plane! The world’s best dad said bye to his family before being deployed for a full six months in parts unknown, and you better believe it was emotional. Not only did poor Javi sob while saying bye to his kids, but he called Kailyn his “best friend” (awwww).

Fortunately, Javi and Kailyn were able to speak every day thanks to the magic of the internet, but Kailyn had some concerns when Javi mentioned that ISIS might be in the area. “They did say ISIS is out here, so be careful when we go off base,” Javi said. “Well, if I get captured, you know where I’m at.”

Kailyn’s reaction? “WHAT? Like, what the actual f–k. How about you don’t go off base then because, no.”

Ditto to that.
