A scary moment for a new mom! In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek at the July 29 premiere of Terra’s Little Family, Terra Jole struggles as her newborn daughter Penelope Charlevoix Gnoffo undergoes an MRI.
The now-4-month-old has inherited her mother’s form of dwarfism, achondroplasia and not her father, Joe Gnoffo’s, form of dwarfism, pseudoachondroplasia. Penelope could have inherited both, and both Jole and Gnoffo were thrilled she only inherited one.
However, baby Penny’s health is still at risk as viewers will see throughout this season of the family’s Lifetime reality show.
In the clip above, watch Jole fret through her daughter’s medical testing. “I know it’s only five minutes, it’s just you want to be able to always comfort your baby,” Jole says as Penny heads into the machine. “This is nuts. She must be terrified right now.”
Throughout the MRI, Penelope continues to wail, with Jole doing her best to comfort her infant.
Terra’s Little Family premieres Wednesday, July 29, at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime, following the premiere of Little Women: LA.
