  I'm so sick of hearing about these people. They've had more than their 15 minutes. How they can say with a straight face they wer einvited is beyond me. If they didn't receive an official, engraved invitation from the White House, they weren't invited. They should be ashamed and we, as the public, shouldn't be giving them the time of day.

  The Salahi couple are nothing but "shameless self promoters"....they are "unabashed fame seekers"...end of story..........by crashing the White House they are trivializing the President, The White House, and our Government.....this does NOT help our image......they need to be penalized for this.....Im not suggesting jail time, but there should be fines, probation and some community service......

  Everybody is on this couple and I think that the Secret Service should be thanking them for showing how flawed the system is that they could get through in the first place. The White House needs to look at it in that way so they can make the necessary changes so it doesn't happen again. I think it's funny that they did it. Why should it only be celebrities invited to these things, why can't normal people get invited instead of just the rich?

  When a citizen of the United States shows up to the front door of the White House and properly identifies himself/herself to the WH personnel (by presenting accurate identification) and asks to see the president and the WH personnel allows them in, regardless of what event is taking place inside, then those citizens have met every obligation required to see the president. Their presence in the WH is completely legitimate. The citizen is under NO, repeat NO, I repeat NO, I repeat again NO, obligation to even guess at what further requirements they should meet let alone do WH personnel work for them. These citizens are being assaulted by the white house and the media, and only goes to show who the real low lifeâ??s are! The fact that Obama is letting the media assault these two people shows that he has NO class.
