Britney Spears Ordered to Pay Lawyers' Fees

The attorneys involved with Britney Spears' conservatorship will be paid for their time, Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled today.
There are two conservators of Spears' financial, medical and legal decisions: Andrew Wallet and her father, Jamie. Wallet, who has not been paid yet, will be given $100,000. Jamie is being paid $2,500 per week.
Britney's attorney, Samuel Ingham, will receive up to $10,000 per week through the end of July.
Jamie's attorney, Geraldine Wyle, will get $175,000; trust attorney Clark Byam will be paid $22,500; and custody attorney Stacey Phillips will receive $75,000.
All of the fees, except for Ingham's, account for costs accrued through March 31.

ok im anon1039=and im gonna clear some things up...to anon1058=i HAVE known mental illness,runs in my family and i have delt w/ it & kept suicidal thoughts at bay since i was 11!my kids made me realize theres more to life,and they are whats important/keep me going.so god forbid YOU experience it!brit was actually doing well until the car mishap recently, i hope its a wakeup call and she keeps going ahead, for the better of herself, and esp. the boys.i used to not feel sorry for her,w/stealing kfed from shar, then shes all shocked when he runs around on HER,cries for privacy but yet courts the paps,being a celeb, comes w/ terriorty. dont like it get out of the biz.yes there were unknown issues( lufti drugging her) that has softened me =some. she needs to take responsiblity, and keep up her progress, again i dont care about her career, but those boys DO love and miss her and need her.and i DONT condone making fun of sick people, i did NOT like pete and ashlees DUMB video spoofing britney, that was just tacky.i never liked ashlee and that video sure didnt help her score points w/ me.thats all im gonna say.

I'am tired of hearing about poor brittney everyone knows that for every decision there is a consequence good or bad. She made plenty of bad decisions not just one but many. Maybe if she actually started learning i'd have a little more sympathy for her now, don't get mad at me people i'm not saying brittneys a bad person she's just making really bad decisions.

You know what? She deserves to pay. If she would just show up in court and settle with Kevin it would all be over. If she didn't bring nut cases like Sam into her life and give them free reign she wouldn't need lawyers to keep them all away now. Why should Jamie Spears put himself in the poor house because he’s trying to take care of his daughter? Clearly he can’t work because he has to keep an eye on Brit as well as all the other blood suckers who are after her. Pay Brit, pay. I think I’ll start a betting pool about how long it will be until she’s broke.

Britney has earned rave reviews all throughout her career for her dedication and professionalism. The life she knew has been taken away from her because of a disease she did not ask for. God forbid you ever have to know what it's like to go through what anyone in her position goes through on a day to day basis. She will have to take medication every single day. Still she may never be quite like the person she used to be.

amen! to anon 700pm ...she certianly makes enough, and it was her antics that brought all these problems in the first place! im almost willing to bet that once her daddys "control" over her expires in july, shes gonna go buck wild again! and here she is AGAIN< in ANOTHER accident, even though no one or car was hurt, hello????@?@? just a matter of time...unless she can do something about it, and change for the good,for herself and most of all for her boys.
