Nothing to see here, folks! A low-key Anne Hathaway resurfaced in Venice, Calif. on Monday, noshing with a pal at Cafe Gratitude before picking up a roll of paper towels. For this outing, there was nothing controversial about the 30-year-old's outfit: A striped shirt that gave a sneak-peek of Hathaway's toned tummy, black skinny jeans and ballet flats. Wearing seemingly no makeup, Hathaway maintained a stoic expression, and kept out the sun's glare with a pair of shades.
The star, who recently noted she doesn't have a film project slated until this fall, is soaking up some R&R with husband Adam Shulman after a very busy awards season. It all culminated with the Les Miserables' win for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards — and not a little bit of controversy regarding her final dress selection.
As Us Weekly revealed last week, Hathaway was "freaking out" during a Sat. Feb. 23 Oscars rehearsal when costar Amanda Seyfried shared a snapshot of her planned ceremony dress, which was strikingly similar to Hathaway's Valentino gown. Ultimately, the Oscar victor went with a Prada creation last minute, and later apologized "for any disappointment caused" by the switch.
27-year-old Seyfried has also moved on. "Fact: I love you, Anne!" the actress Tweeted to her costar over the weekend.
