SO. HAPPY. Tom Brady couldn’t have been happier after the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl XLIX. With only seconds left in the game, the quarterback was caught by cameras on the sideline jumping for joy moments before they sealed the deal with their 28 to 24 win.
Things quickly went sour though — Seattle Seahawks player Bruce Irvin nailed Rob Gronkowski in the head after a fight broke out between the two teams with only 20 seconds left in the game. After Brady attempted to take a knee, the two teams went into a shoving frenzy and Irvin was then ejected from the game, leaving the whole world to witness an awkward end to a celebratory moment.
Happy-as-a-kid-in-a-candy-store Brady also failed to give viewers a PDA moment on camera with wife Gisele Bundchen, but the supermodel was present for his win.
Prior to kickoff Bundchen shared a selfie of herself with her game off and a blinged out Patriots jersey on. “Are you ready?!?! Let’s go Pats!!!!! #superbowl,” she captioned her shot.
“Lets go daddy!! Let’s go Pats !!,” she captioned a sweet photo of kids Jack and Benjamin cheering.
After Brady’s big win, Bundchen gave him a much deserved kiss on the field.
