The Avengers assembled and didn’t disappoint! On Wednesday, March 4, the official Twitter handle of The Avengers films tweeted out for fans to get the hashtag #AvengersAssemble trending in order to unlock the latest trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
“It’s go time, Marvelites: Tweet using #AvengersAssemble to unite & unlock an epic new #Avengers #AgeOfUltron Trailer!” the handle wrote before releasing the clip and tweeting, “You did it! Watch the new @Marvel’s #Avengers #AgeOfUltron trailer and get your tickets NOW.”
The Joss Whedon-directed flick is set to come out in May 1 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, and Samuel L. Jackson.
In this new installment of the superhero franchise, billionaire Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) has accidentally created Operation Ultron, which created artificial intelligence in robots (voiced by James Spader).
“I was designed to save the world,” Spader as Ultron says in the trailer. “People look to the sky and see hope. I’ll take that from them first.”
So once again the gang has to reunite to save the world from an enemy they created. There are a few interesting additions to this trailer, including an intimate moment shared between Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk) and Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow).
