Father Stokes didn’t make it to church on Sunday. Seth Gilliam, who currently stars on the AMC hit The Walking Dead, was arrested for DUI and marijuana possession on Sunday, May 3, TMZ reports.
According to the site, Gilliam, 46, was pulled over on a highway in Peachtree City, Ga., for speeding at 107 mph. He allegedly admitted to having three beers and one shot, and a joint was found under his armrest.
Gilliam then stepped out of his vehicle and blew a .107 blood alcohol level. He was charged with DUI, pot possession, and reckless driving. He’s since been released from jail on a $9,818 bond.
Gilliam joined The Walking Dead in 2014 as the intolerable Father Gabriel Stokes. (His arrest also comes just days after his costar Chad L. Coleman was filmed screaming at subway passengers in NYC.) He’s also appeared on MTV’s Teen Wolf as Dr. Alan Deaton and played Detective Ellis Carver on The Wire from 2002 to 2008.
