What’s the big deal? Jenelle Evans is currently under fire for a video she posted and then deleted on Saturday, July 4. The Teen Mom 2 star shared a clip of her pit bull Jax playing with a live firework, and the footage provoked her followers to attack her online.
“I’m never posting anything about my dog ever again,” Evans, 23, tweeted following the incident.
Her excuse? According to TMZ, the MTV star thought the video was fine because she’s seen a similar gag before on America’s Funniest Home Videos.
On July 6, Evans Facebooked a clip from the popular comedy show, writing, “Weiner Dog with Firework in mouth on the Fourth of July. Almost hurt people, but this is all funny to you guys.”
When one follower wrote, “@PBandJenelley_1 as you can see they didn't tell the dog to fetch it Nor did the dog bite the sparking part. But good try at justifying,” Evans replied, “sorry my dog likes to be a little badass sometimes.”
TMZ claims Evans told them she’s not sorry for having a lit firework around her dog.
“I’m sorry if people are offended,” Evans said. “Anything I do is going to be such a big deal to everyone else because I’m on TV. People have been trying to attack me for years.”
