Here's to the Kings! Amy Duggar and her husband, Dillon King, are currently honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, Us Weekly can confirm. The newlyweds jetted off on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
"Bye bye America!" the 19 Kids and Counting guest star, 28, captioned an Instagram pic of the lovebirds. "#honeymoonkings #exhausted #ineedamimosanow"
Duggar looked refreshed and over the moon before boarding the plane. Her trendy airport style included a blue button-up and ripped jean shorts. She teamed the look with maroon-colored boots and a fedora hat.
"Made it to Mexico!!!" King captioned a second pic once they landed. "@amyrachelleking #honeymoonkings"
As previously reported, Duggar and King said "I do" on Sept. 6, after 10 months of dating. The couple were feted by friends and family including the bride's uncle and aunt, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, and cousins Jill and Jessa Duggar. Cousin Josh Duggar — who is currently seeking help at a treatment center following his cheating scandal — was not in attendance. (Back in May, Josh also admitted to molesting five girls, including sisters Jill and Jessa, when he was a young teenager.)
"In the middle of chaos, I think this will be a really beautiful moment," Amy told Us of her nuptials. "I think it’s important that it is family and friends that love us and know us and that’s why it’s not open to the public. I just really think it’s a special time for all of us to be reunited. It’s been a rough couple of weeks, it really has. Last couple of months, too, so it’s just one of those things where I want them to know that it’s safe to come to my wedding and not be bombarded by media or fans, and just kind of respect that time with each other."
She added: "Everyone needs to celebrate love."
