Can we blame her? Elle Fanning barely paid attention to Beyoncé when she recently attended one of the superstar’s concerts. Instead, she was fawning over the hunky star sitting right next to her — Channing Tatum.
The Maleficent actress, 18, attended a Queen Bey show at L.A.’s Dodgers Stadium in September. She and her friend went to get hot dogs, and when they returned to their seats, they recognized an older man sitting in their row.
“I was like, ‘You have to sit next to the dad that’s bringing his daughters to the Beyoncé concert!'” Fanning recalled during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, December 14. “And then he looked up and it was Channing Tatum. I was so jealous. I was like, ‘Move! Move!'”
Tatum, 36, was joined by his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, for the big night. Fanning “wanted to play it cool,” so she didn’t ask for a photo.
“We talked to him a little bit,” she told host Jimmy Fallon. “We were watching Beyoncé, but we were also watching him, Magic Mike.”
Back in January, the Gambit star himself got an even closer seat to Bey. The “Hold Up” singer made a surprise appearance while he performed her smash song “Run the World (Girls)” during Lip Sync Battle.
