As they should! Jenna Dewan-Tatum revealed in a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily that she and husband Channing Tatum will make their daughter, Everly, watch their flick Step Up, whether she wants to or not!
“We keep saying we are going to force feed Step Up to Everly,” the 35-year-old actress joked to the site. “Like, ‘You have to watch. You have to see where you came from.'”
And they likely won’t have to pressure Everly too much either, given she has already taken a liking to dance.
“[Everly]’s a very free-spirited little kid,” Jenna gushed of their 3-year-old daughter. “She likes to run around and do her own thing. But she loves a tutu and she will put on three or four and go around the house and do little shake moves.”
The couple, who met on the set of the 2006 film, recently celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Step Up, proving to their fans the movie still means the world to them.
“#tbt to on set of Step Up😍 I cannot believe it’s the 10 year anniversary of the release today!! Ahhhh where does the time go?? Love you all and thanks for all the love all these years❤️❤️,” the Witches of East End star wrote alongside a throwback photo of herself with Channing earlier this month.
“We had to #stepup10years,” she added alongside a video of herself and Channing recreating the film’s most memorable dance move.
“We were basically together on the movie,” Tatum, 36, recalled to Redbook back in October 2014. “It’s interesting now, because we can watch it and see; we can go, ‘Oh, wow, that was actually our first real kiss.’ As soon as the movie wrapped, we went back to L.A. and were together, and together ever since — never broken up. That’s nine years.”
