Does she have the right stripes? Mischa Barton donned a colorful frock to attend a Paris Haute Couture Week show on Tuesday, July 5.
The Dancing With the Stars alum, 30, opted for a long-sleeved Blumarine dress made of organza chiffon, silk twill, wool jersey and jersey lurex. The stunning number, which she paired with strappy silver sandals, featured white, teal, pink, red, gray and black stripes all over. Because she was at Bulgari’s haute couture event, the Deserted star sparkled in jewels from the brand. Her chandelier earrings with orange, green and purple stones matched a glittering lariat necklace in the same palette.
Celebrity hair and makeup artist Giulio Panciera prepped Barton’s skin with Bioderma Crealine Sensibio H2O micellar water before using Dior Makeup products on her entire face. He styled her shoulder-length blonde locks with L’Oréal’s Wild Stylers 60s Babe Savage Panache hairspray to create loose, relaxed waves.
Barton, who rose to fame for her role in the early 2000s TV drama The O.C., recently revealed how she fought the child actor curse and remained active in Hollywood. “You just have to be really tough. You really have to have your wits about you and stay with what you love to do,” she told the Daily Mail. “And you have to work with people you love to work with!”
She’s also opened up about her typical reaction when fans mention the show. “No, I’m never annoyed by it. It was just so long ago: It really had its time and place,” she told Vanity Fair. “It changed pop culture. It’s amazing all the things that kind of spawned out of it. So, no, I’m not annoyed by it, but I’m just like … people love to talk [about it].”
