No smoky eye here! Selena Gomez got a major makeunder for two stunning covers of Vogue Brazil, which she posted to Twitter on Tuesday, May 24.
“My first cover for @voguebroficial with @louisvuitton,” Gomez, 23, wrote.
In one image, the “Hands to Myself” singer is solo, sitting on the floor and portrayed in color. The second shot, taken in black and white, is of her standing and embracing Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière.
Both covers, which proclaim the Disney alum as Ghesquière’s protégé in Portuguese, feature her in minimal makeup, even ditching eyeliner in favor of a strong brow, a light lid contour and a glossy peach pout.
But her smoky-eye game isn’t the only change in the Revival singer’s beauty routine. Her voluminous tresses, typically curled softly and falling around her face, were left in their natural texture, with straight ends.
Each cover also lacks the usual glam outfit. In her individual shot, Gomez rocks a futuristic-looking Louis Vuitton jumpsuit with black and orange-red accents. Heeled combat boots complete her edgy look.
In the second photo, Gomez dons a loose-fitting white dress with a black leather bodice, while Ghesquière models a leather moto jacket with black jeans.
