Onward and upward! Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell showed off a new tattoo via Instagram on Wednesday, April 20, in a nod to her recent stint in treatment, and seemingly to Project Semicolon, the global movement for education and awareness about suicide and mental illness.
“That’s right #keepmovingforward,” she captioned the powerful photo, in which she shows off the fresh ink on her left arm, which reads “My story isn’t over yet;”
The symbolic semicolon at the end of the sentence is likely in reference to Project Semicolon, which emphasizes that struggles with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide are “not the end but a new beginning.” The nonprofit movement also uses the tagline “Your story is not over.”
Lowell, 24, completed a month of treatment in Arizona two weekends ago, and updated fans about her well-being via social media.
“Well I’m out and feeling better than ever,” she tweeted. “Thanks so much @sierratucson.”
The reality star worried fans in March when she suddenly went away to get help following a few ominous tweets from both her and her husband, Tyler Baltierra.
“Please just pray for my wife,” Baltierra, 24, mysteriously tweeted. He later added, “For better or for worse … through sickness & in health … I will NEVER stop fighting for my wife. Keep her in your prayers … thank you.”
The reality personality’s struggle with postpartum depression after giving birth to daughter Novalee has been documented on MTV’s hit docuseries.
