Dad on duty! Mark Zuckerberg is getting right into the swing of things with diaper duty, according to an adorable photo he shared of himself and newborn daughter Max via Facebook on Friday, Dec. 11.
“One more down, thousands to go,” he captioned a photo of himself changing little Max’s diaper. In the sweet snapshot, the 31-year-old Facebook CEO is looking down lovingly at his daughter while she peeks curiously over at the camera.
Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, welcomed Max to the world on Tuesday, Dec. 1, and haven’t been shy about sharing their affections for her since.
The couple shared a touching video tribute to Max and “all the children of her generation” shortly after her birth.
“The pregnancy has been really fun, and we’re really looking forward to meeting her,” Chan, 30, says in a voice-over for the clip. “Mark is really looking forward to meeting her.”
“Well, it’s been 37 weeks, so I think it’s time for her to come out!” Zuckerberg replies. “It’s my turn to hold her.”
In November, Zuckerberg announced that he would be taking a two-month paternity leave following Max’s birth in order to spend time bonding as a family.
“Priscilla and I are starting to get ready for our daughter’s arrival,” he shared on Facebook at the time. “We’ve been picking out our favorite childhood books and toys. We’ve also been thinking about how we’re going to take time off during the first months of her life.”
The couple reside in Palo Alto, Calif., with their dog Beast.
