Summary

Digital Writer Sophia Vilensky is a staunch manifestation advocate and the co-writer of North West’s memoir (someday). More than anything, she wants to do her part in bringing empathy to celebrity writing.

Before joining the Us Weekly team, Sophia served as the Arts and Entertainment editor for the Minnesota Daily, where she tried her very best to score interviews with anyone and everyone in Prince’s inner circle. After graduation, she enjoyed giving guests the star treatment at Minneapolis’ very best restaurant, Demi, while freelancing for publications such as Wit & Delight and Teen Vogue, as well as building up her copywriting portfolio.

Education

Sophia attended the University of Minnesota, graduating summa cum laude in May 2019 with a degree in English and a minor in cinema studies. Naturally, she wrote her senior thesis on Vanderpump Rules.
