Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum is a German American model, television host and producer best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and as the longtime face of Project Runway. Klum was born in Bergisch Gladbach, West Germany, where she won a national modeling contest in 1992, launching her career in fashion. She chose to forgo an apprenticeship as a fashion designer to pursue modeling full time and later moved to the United States as her career gained momentum.

Klum rose to international fame as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 1998. She became a household name as the host and executive producer of Project Runway, earning an Emmy Award in 2013. She later served as a judge on America’s Got Talent and began cohosting Germany’s Next Topmodel, further expanding her television career.

Klum was wed to stylist Ric Pipino from 1997 to 2002. She later entered a brief relationship with Flavio Briatore in 2003. The pair share a daughter, Leni (born in 2004). She married Seal in 2005 and they share three children: Henry (born in 2005), Johan (born in 2006) and Lou (born in 2009). The twosome divorced in 2012. She wed Tom Kaulitz in 2019.
