The actress, 37, has learned how to cook with a deep fryer, and writes all about it in Thursday's GOOP newsletter.
"A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of spending the day working in London’s famous River Cafe, and it was incredible!" says Paltrow. "I was stationed at the deep fat fryer (Delight! Fried zucchini! Fried anchovies!), and also helped [chef] Danny [Bohan] on pasta with his very busy day."

"It was an experience I won’t soon forget," adds Paltrow, who posts plenty of photos and step-by-step photos of the calorie-packed recipe.

Paltrow gained weight while shooting drama Love Don't Let Me Down in Nashville, where she sampled local fried chicken joints and pigged out on ice cream sundaes. Then she dropped it all by going on a super low-carb diet and working out an hour-and-a-half a day (dance cardio and a leg series video) under the supervision of Anderson.
