Jennie Garth looks happier and healthier than ever! To celebrate her upcoming 41st birthday, the What I Like About You actress flew to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for some fun in the sun with her three daughters, Luca, Lola and Fiona. The family stayed at the Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa, a source tells Us Weekly.
Garth showed off her 30-pound weight loss in a ruffled pink bikini March 27. Two days later, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star shared a picture from her vacation via Instagram. “Had such a blast!” Garth wrote in the caption. “Thanks for the amazing trip!”
In the January/February issue of Health, Peter Facinelli‘s ex-wife shared her weight loss secrets. “Every day, I just renew my healthy choices,” the 40-year-old said. “I feel really good about myself now, and I don’t want to do anything to change that.”
Garth had tried to lose weight in the past, but despite her best efforts, the results were always temporary. “My biggest regret is putting my body through fad diets: Atkins, cleanses, the hCG diet. I lost like 18 pounds, but it came right back,” she told Health. “The worst was fasting with colonics for three or four days. It was the most horrifying experience ever!”
The star — who sips coconut water to stay hydrated and curb cravings — is currently dating Big Gigantic drummer Jeremy Salken, 31. The pair met up in Denver, Colo., following Garth’s trip to Mexico. The actress shared a picture of Salken kissing her cheek via Instagram March 31. “Happy Easter! Happy Sunday!” Garth wrote in the caption. “My boo loves me to the red rocks and back.”
