Jessica Simpson: I’m “Always Conscious” of What I Put into My Body

One day after Jessica Simpson appeared thinned out on the cover of Lucky magazine, the singer is opening up about struggle to stay fit.

"I think a woman always stresses out about their weight. It’s just like a woman thing — unless you’re the women we don’t like that are the supermodels that are just so naturally fantastic," Simpson, 30, says on E!'s The Daily 10. "But for me, I’m a curvy girl so I have to always be conscious of what I’m putting into my body, if I’m going to be working out."

The "With You" singer — who has been dating ex-NFL player Eric Johnson since May — also also sets the record straight about rumors that she's been asked to become a judge on American Idol.

"I mean, I don't think so," she says. "I haven't gotten a phone call."

But if she were to become a judge, is Simpson prepared to offer contestants some words of wisdom?

"I'm not a very judgmental person, so I could probably stick my foot in my mouth a couple times," she says. "I am a singer and I do know if it's going to actually happen for someone or not."
