So, how's wedding planning going for Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson?
"We have not started any planning," Simpson, 30, told UsMagazine.com at Tuesday's Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting bash in NYC.
"I'm trying to get through all this promotion," explained the singer, who's been hawking her Happy Christmas album. (Wearing a black, sequined J. Mendel jacket, the star opened the live NBC special, crooning "My Only Wish," and returned to the stage to sing "I'll Be Home for Christmas" with Persian Gulf vet John Britt.)
"Who knows what will happen?" Simpson told Us of her big day. "I personally have no idea! I have not set a date and I can't even think about putting together table settings at the moment," the once-divorced star explained.
Ex-NFL player Johnson, 31, popped the question at Simpson's home Nov. 11 after less than six months of dating.
"I'm just gonna enjoy the engagement and we'll get married the moment we feel like it," Simpson said.
Worth approximately $150,000, Simpson's new engagement ring (which Johnson apparently hid in a shoe at her home for weeks) is a Neil Lane sparkler featuring a 5-carat ruby flanked by 3-carat diamonds.
She gushed to reporters about her hubby-to-be. "Every day is a romantic day with him. I'm very blessed. He even said to my mom and friend downstairs 'I can't believe that's my fiance,'" Simpson said. "My mom's heart is melting!"
