As Kate Upton showed in a bathing suit photo on Instagram on Wednesday, June 5, she’s as sexy as ever. This time, it just happens to be a mere seven months since welcoming her first baby, Genevieve, with her MLB pitcher husband, Justin Verlander.
The model posted a pic of herself in a sleek black one-piece on a Miami hotel balcony overlooking a pool and ocean. She wore a white hate, yellow sunglasses and a gauzy open floral robe as she popped up her left hip to show off her toned legs. “Things are finally heating up…🔥,” she captioned the image.
Upton, 26, announced in December that she was launching her own workout program, Strong4Me Fitness. “Just finished week 1 day 1 of @strong4mefit workouts! Feeling sweaty but motivated! So glad I can start my #fitnessjourney to get strong again right in my living room. My baby girl can sleep while I fit in a quick 30min workout 🏋️♀️,” she wrote at the time.
A couple weeks later, she opened up to fans about how she was struggling a bit with her post-baby weight loss routine, but staying motivated. “Getting in a little cardio with a family beach walk,” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model captioned a picture of herself on a boardwalk carrying her newborn. “I’m not going to lie to you and tell you I’ve been working out and eating healthy. It’s so hard over the holidays. Traveling and enjoying time with my family!” She finished the post on a positive note: “I’m trying not to get down on myself. Instead use it as motivation to get right back at it!”
Since then, the star has frequently posted photos of herself working out. “Smiling through the pain,” she joked in a caption for a pic that showed her doing core work.
