Rivaling Justin Timberlake's reunion with 'N Sync at the VMAs on Sunday, Aug. 25? Some rather bootylicious performances courtesy of master rabble-rousers Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus.
While the two button-pushing singers have considerably different styles and sounds, they seemed to be of one mind when it came to their MTV Video Music Award performances this year: Give the audience a memorable rear view.
Lady Gaga kicked off the show wearing an odd white getup — including a square hood — that covered up her body completely, but by the end of her performance, she had shed layers of costume to reveal a shell bikini top and a butt-baring thong. (Cue lots of subsequent cracks by pseudo host Kevin Hart, who couldn't stop gushing about her lovely "yams.")
Cyrus, meanwhile, made quite an impression joining Robin Thicke onstage for a performance of his hit song "Blurred Lines." The singer stripped down to a shiny nude-colored bikini and bent over and twerked in front of Thicke, revealing a peek of underbutt.
Tell Us: Did you think their butt-baring performances crossed the line?
