Sharing her progress! Sarah Hyland is getting stronger by the day and is happy to show off all her hard work amid her ongoing health battles.
The 27-year-old Modern Family star took to Instagram Stories on Thursday, August 2, to document a workout and share a tidbit about her personal journey in the gym.
“#Strongwomen,” the actress captioned a video showing off her arm and back muscles while doing pull-ups. “Realllllllly did NOT want to come in today,” she continued, “but I’m very glad I diiid. Be strong out there ladies!!! Every workout counts.”
She then posed in front of a full-length mirror to flaunt her abs and toned figure. “Very proud of this,” she wrote. “Seeing as I was 75 lbs earlier this year.”
The Stories come just one week after Hyland revealed that she had been given clearance to get back in the gym after being hospitalized in June.
The New York native opened up about her most recent health scare in an Instagram post on June 25, revealing that she had to pause on the filming of her upcoming film The Wedding Year after becoming ill.
“Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle or feelin cute. This time for #NationalSelfieDay, I’ve decided to share my truth. As painful as it is,” she captioned an Instagram pic of her swollen face. “So here is my face that was torn from work against my will. But I’m very grateful it was. Health should always come first.”
Hyland previously underwent a life-saving kidney transplant in 2012, and is often vocal about various medical conditions that she faces.
