The former model and mom of three was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012 and has been vocal about finding a cure, traveling all over the wolrd and meeting with various doctors. In January, Foster’s condition was so poor, she lost the ability to read and write, and was unable to film all of the Bravo show’s reunion special.

“I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can’t process information or any stimulation for that matter,” she explained in her Bravo blog. “It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it.”
