Adam Levine is smitten. The Voice coach gushed over his newborn daughter during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, May 7.
“Gio is her name. She’s so cute,” he said. “We’ve only posted pictures of her feet. She has my feet, which is a bummer for her. Maybe they will change.”
Levine, 39, and Behati Prinsloo welcomed their second child in February. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, are also parents of Dusty, 19 months.
“She’s obsessed with Gio to the point where every morning when she wakes up the first thing she says is, ‘Gio! Gio! Gio! Gio!’ and runs into her room. It’s really cute. Totally in love with her,” Levine told DeGeneres. “She’s a little rough with her because she doesn’t understand. So she’ll get in her face and do crazy stuff. Being a dad is the most fun thing on the planet.”
Levine and the model, 28, aren’t done having kids either. “At this rate, I think I’m definitely going to let my wife be in control of the time of the next child,” he mused. “We want a lot.”
He added, referencing his band: “Maroon 5. We have to have a band of children.”
Levine really is a proud dad. In November 2017, an insider told Us Weekly that he is “so in love” with his family.
