Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse are embracing their new roles as mom and dad following the birth of their first baby.
“We took Labor Day literally this year 👼🏻,” the model, 32, wrote via Instagram on Monday, September 28, alongside a photo of her, Sprouse, 34, and their newborn all donning Dodgers jerseys.
Palvin and Sprouse have been together since June 2018. The couple got engaged in September 2022, though they did not publicly confirm the news until June 2023. The model and the actor subsequently tied the knot in her native Hungary in July 2023.
Nearly three years later, Palvin revealed that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with Sprouse at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival in May. She debuted her bump on the red carpet while stunning in an elegant light blue Miu Miu gown.
That same day, Palvin and Sprouse confirmed her pregnancy via Instagram. In the first photo, they both placed their hands on her belly as they stared lovingly at each other. The second image featured a sonogram of a baby holding up the “rock hands” gesture, while the third picture showed the duo mimicking the symbol with their own hands.
“🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼,” they captioned the joint Instagram post at the time.
Prior to her pregnancy, Palvin opened up about her struggles with endometriosis, a condition that causes tissue similar to the uterine lining to grow outside of the uterus and can lead to fertility issues.
“For some years now, I’ve been dealing with the difficulties that can come with my periods. Fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow, sleepless nights on the bathroom floor,” she wrote via Instagram in August 2025. “I thought this was just how it works for me. But recently, I’ve been advised to seek out an endometriosis specialist to see whether my symptoms are caused by that.”
She added, “I’ve been going to checkups to my gynecologist every year, I thought if I had endometriosis, I would have known about it by now, but as it turns out, endometriosis can’t be diagnosed with general examinations.”
Palvin received an official endometriosis diagnosis after seeing a specialist.
“Three months later, I got operated on,” she revealed. “Since then, I finally experienced a period that was easier, and now I know the difference. If you suspect that you could have endometriosis, I encourage you to find out. It helped me a lot, and I’m grateful I did it.”
She continued, “Early diagnosis and treatment are very important to prevent long-term complications, and now I’m more mindful about my body to act fast if needed. That’s also why I took the past three months to rest and fully heal.”
Palvin concluded that she was “excited about this new chapter of my life.”
In October 2025, Sprouse showed support for Palvin by handing out endometriosis awareness pins on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show red carpet.
“She was so strong to go through that herself, once she posted about it, which she was very nonchalant posting about something that happened to her, turns out a ton of people reached out to her. … Some people were even reaching out and saying, ‘I didn’t realize I had those symptoms until I got diagnosed from seeing you post about it,’” Sprouse told E! News at the time. “I’m hoping that if this is even a small measure of something we can do, then I hope it helps.”
“She’s incredibly tough,” Sprouse added of Palvin. “And not just because she’s Hungarian, which they’re naturally pretty tough, but she’s particularly a tough cookie, and I’m proud to call her my wife.”
