Blue‘s big 2 looked like a wild fun time! Beyonce and Jay Z‘s daughter turned two years old last Tuesday, Jan. 7 — and it turns out she was flanked by loved ones (and face paint!) for her happy day.
To mark their only child’s special day, the world’s highest-earning celebrity couple rented out Jungle Island, an interactive wildlife park and botanical garden in Miami, Fla. “She is the apple of their eye,” a source tells Us Weekly in the Jan. 27 issue.
One week later on Tuesday, Jan. 14, via her Tumblr the “XO” crooner, 32, shared pictures from inside the private party, which was attended by Destiny’s Child sisters Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. Along with the birthday girl, the three gals got their faces painted and watched Blue, decked out in a tiara, open gifts — including one card written by a kid pal of Blue’s that read, “Baby Blue, You are a princess.”
The attendees also watched Blue as she drove around the room in her brand new Minnie Mouse toy car. “She is an adorable, well-adjusted and very funny baby girl,” the insider tells Us.
The Carter household has been busy celebrating big parties in 2014, starting off with a private bash hosted by the celebrity duo at the Versace Mansion for New Year’s Eve. The couple celebrated Blue’s birthday one week later, and topped off their soiree streak last weekend with a New Orleans-based masquerade ball toasting Tina Knowles‘ 60th birthday.
