“Sup everybody……. guess who is gonna be a BIG brother! #thisdude#aldeanpartyof6,” the “You Make It Easy” singer, 41, captioned an Instagram photo of their 7-month-old wearing a “Big Brother” onesie on Tuesday, July 10.
Kerr, 30, shared the same photo of Memphis on Instagram, writing, “Here we go again!👶🏻💙💞 .”
Aldean is also dad of daughters, Keeley, 15, and Kendyl, 10, from a previous marriage.
Three months ago, the lifestyle blogger opened up about the couple’s struggle to get pregnant with their first child — and their desire to have a second.
“It was the longest process,” Kerr revealed on the “Babes and Babies” podcast in April. “It was such a roller coaster and I ended up, through it all, having endometriosis. After a year and a half of trying, they’re finally like, ‘We think you might have endometriosis.’ I’m like, ‘Uh … after all that, are you kidding me?’”
Endometriosis is a disorder in which “tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus,” according to the National Institutes of Health. Kerr explained that she had a laparoscopy to remove the tissue and then she “ended up getting pregnant.”
“The IVF was probably harder than the actual pregnancy, for me, because it was just such a roller coaster and so difficult,” the makeup artist continued at time. “It’s such high highs and such low lows, and no one really knows that you’re going through it all so you have to just put on a game face and pretend that you’re not giving yourself shots in your stomach every day, all day.”
She added: “We want probably just one more, because he has two children already, and then we had him, so I feel like four is a lot. But I want to try again, just so that Memphis has a friend that’s close to his age.”
