Mother of boys! Candice Swanepoel has given birth and welcomed her second son with her fiancé, Hermann Nicoli.
The model announced the news via Instagram Story on Tuesday, June 19. “Blessed,” she captioned a pic of herself holding the newborn’s hand.
The 29-year-old Victoria’s Secret angel showed off her baby bump on a trip to Brazil on June 6. “Ripe 💕,” she captioned the beach shot of her belly on Instagram.
Swanepoel and Nicoli, who got engaged in 2015, are also parents of 20-month-old son Anaca. Swanepoel announced that she was pregnant in December, one month after she rocked lingerie in the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
“Christmas came early #2,” she captioned a photo of herself cradling her stomach at the time. A month later, the model revealed that she was expecting another boy when she shared a video of Anaca kissing her then-baby bump.
“My boys,” Swanepoel captioned the clip, adding two blue heart emojis.
In honor of Mother’s Day, Swanepoel candidly opened up about motherhood in an Instagram post in May.
“Motherhood isn’t always easy but it’s the most rewarding, powerful thing I’ve ever experienced, so many different emotions each and every day,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself holding her firstborn. “The unconditional love i feel for my son gives me a strength I never knew I had. It’s a patient and gentle strength that only comes with the enormous responsibility of bringing another soul into the world. Sending love to all the mamas out there, we are all just winging it and doing the best we can do. There is no formula to being a good mom. Just love with all your being. ❤.”
