Gushing over her little guy! Carrie Underwood gave a rare glimpse of her 2-month-old son on Thursday, April 18.
“Want. To. Eat. These. Toes,” the country singer, 36, captioned a close-up Instagram photo of Jacob’s feet. The little one sported black pants and rested on the Grammy winner’s legs.
The “Love Wins” singer tweeted the same day that she was in need of some self-care. “Just referred to my time in the dentist’s chair when they give me the gas as ‘me time,’” she wrote. “I really need a spa day or a night out or something! #helpme #ThatsKindOfSad.”
Underwood, who also shares Isaiah, 4, with her husband, Mike Fisher, welcomed her second son in January.
“Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday,” the American Idol winner wrote on Instagram at the time. “His mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good.”
Nearly two months after his arrival, Underwood shared an emotional post about her exercise regimen after baby No. 2.
“I’m going to be honest, ‘bouncing back’ after having Jacob has been much more difficult than after I had Isaiah and I’ve been pretty hard on myself lately,” she wrote on Instagram in March. “I go into the gym and I can’t run as fast or as far. I can’t lift as much weight or do as many reps as I could a year ago. I just want to feel like myself again…for my body to feel the way that I know it can.”
The Oklahoma native added: “As I prepare for red carpets and for life on tour, right now I make a promise to myself to start appreciating what my body CAN do and stop focusing on what it can’t. I promise to stop analyzing every angle and every curve and every pound and every meal.”
