Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen welcomed two children before they separated in 2026.
Us Weekly confirmed in May 2026 that Biggs and Mollen had split after 18 years of marriage.
“They are on great terms and remain focused on raising their two boys,” a rep for the estranged couple told Us at the time.
The two actors welcomed son Sid in 2014 and son Lazlo in 2017.

Sid Biggs
Mollen gave birth to the then-couple’s first child in February 2014.
“His name is Sid Biggs. He is 8 pounds, 8 ounces and 21.25 inches long,” Mollen told Us. “Born February 15 at 5:33 p.m. Ended up having to have an unplanned C-section. Delivered at Cedars Sinai.”
Lazlo Biggs
Us confirmed in October 2017 that Biggs and Mollen welcomed baby No. 2.
“He’s actually a really good baby,” Biggs told Us exclusively the next month. “We’ll literally go hours and we’ll be like, ‘Have you changed him?’ … ‘No, I haven’t changed him. Have you changed him? Should we check his diaper?’ We check his diaper and there’s like a blowout. We’re like this poor kid has been sitting in a pile of his own s*** for the last – how long?!”
What Sid and Lazlo Know About Their Parents’ Careers
Biggs notably rose to fame in the American Pie franchise, though he was hesitant about clueing his kids in about the meaning of the film’s title.
“We were out somewhere and someone walked by us and someone yelled as they walked by,” Biggs told Us in June 2024. “They’re like, ‘Oh, my God, pie f***er!’ It was like, in passing. I looked immediately at my son and was like, ‘Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Did he see? And he did not hear? OK, thank God’ because then I was gonna have to explain right now for him.”
According to Biggs, he was “trying to put off” the conversation about his character’s infamous NSFW scene with a pie “as long as possible.”
By January 2026, the boys were curious about the 1999 film.
“Someone walked by and they yelled, ‘Hey, it’s the pie …,” Biggs recalled on The View. “I quickly looked at the boys and they hadn’t heard … but Sid’s starting to ask questions. He knows, he’s heard it enough and he knows there’s something with a pie.”
Biggs further noted that, when Sid went to camp for the first time, his counselors and teachers would drop hints about American Pie.
“So, anyway, we decided we would like to get ahead of it,” the actor added. “He’s hearing so much. Jenny and I decided that we would show him the scene. He was fine, there was a bit of a pause and he looked up at me and he said, ‘Dad, you’re a really good actor.’ … He sounded surprised.”
Despite Sid’s shock, Biggs still found his eldest son’s reaction to be “sweet.”
