Keeping it a family of four! Jana Kramer and her husband, Mike Caussin, share two children and tell Us Weekly exclusively that they aren’t interested in conceiving a third.
“He has a vasectomy appointment, scheduled next week, so we’re done,” the “Beautiful Lies” singer, 35, told Us on Tuesday, April 2. “But we might adopt later in life.”
The One Tree Hill alum and the former professional football player, 32, tied the knot in 2015 and started growing their family one year later. Jolie arrived in 2016 and became a big sister in November 2018 when Kramer gave birth to Jace.
“It’s been fun,” Kramer says of parenting the second time around. “There are so many times, even when it’s a chaotic day, … our family of four [is] everything I ever dreamed and wanted and we’re doing it. I love it. The house is a mess. We’re just going, we’re living life and it’s together.”
The “Whine Down” podcast hosts, who did their first live recording on Tuesday, sponsored by Thrive Market, said that their daughter has risen to the challenge of big sisterhood.
“She’s an incredible big sister,” Kramer told Us. “I’m so in love with that child, it’s not even funny. The way she cares for Jace is incredible, and she’s grown up before our eyes, but she’s so beautiful, and she’s doing it.”
While the singer has been mom-shamed multiple times for everything from Jolie’s speech delay to her son’s baby food, she doesn’t let criticism get to her.
“End of the day, I’m like, ‘All right, I know I’m a good mom, and that’s all that matters, and everyone else’s opinion, I shouldn’t take that on,’” she said.
In 2016, Us broke the news that Caussin had cheated on the actress, and she recently opened up about his “massive” sex addiction relapse.
“Yes, it wasn’t physical out of the marriage, but it was something where the action was basically … We’re just basically happy that someone didn’t show up,” Kramer said last month. “I showed up at the hotel instead, if you really want to know.”
