Getting close! Jessica Simpson is nearing the end of her third pregnancy, and gave fans another glimpse of her growing baby bump in a Sunday, February 10, Instagram pic.
“Tight squeeze but I’m pushin’ through,” the fashion designer, 38, joked as she captioned the social media shot. In the funny picture, the musician stood between two cars in an all-black outfit and furry Fendi slides, her baby bump pressed up against one of the vehicle’s bumpers. She wore a colorful scarf in her hair and threw up a peace sign.
This isn’t the first time that the Dukes of Hazard’s actress’ belly has been on display in her third trimester. When she and her husband, Eric Johnson, headed to the doctor on February 5, Simpson sported a fitted top and flowy pants. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, already share daughter Maxwell, 6, and son Ace, 5.
It’s been five months since Simpson announced that she and her husband, 39, are expecting. “This little baby girl will make us a family of five,” she captioned an Instagram photo of their kids beneath pink balloons in September. “We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”
The Texas native’s pregnancy has been far from easy, though, and Simpson has opened up about her sciatica pain, bronchitis and extremely swollen feet to fans.
“The only thing that gets me through this pregnancy is knowing I will get another one of these cuties,” she captioned an Instagram shot of Maxwell and Ace on Wednesday, February 6. The little ones were all smiles in their school uniforms.
The next day, Simpson’s sister, Ashlee, opened up to Us Weekly exclusively about the admirable way her older sibling has handled her difficult third pregnancy.
“I’m so proud of her for being open,” the Ashlee and Evan star, 34, said. “It’s not always easy, so I think being open about that is great. … She’s tough. We’re talking about Jessica.”
