John Stamos is “so f—king tired” — just ask him. The Fuller House star joked that he’s exhausted even though “the baby hasn’t even come yet” while attending the Benjamin premiere in Hollywood on Wednesday, April 4.
Stamos, 54, and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, are expecting their first child together. The actor insists that he won’t be changing diapers, but he has been pampering the mom-to-be during her pregnancy.

“My wife is sort of resting a lot right now. It’s getting close. I wake up and I’m a servant to her basically,” he exclusively tells Us Weekly, adding that he cooks for her. “She eats like a horse! She loves to eat but she’s so skinny too. She’s handling pregnancy in the most graceful way that I could’ve imagined. It’s just beautiful. It’s beautiful to watch. She just kind of floats through each day. She wakes up smiling. It’s just been so beautiful, all of it!”
Stamos and the model tied the knot in February, nearly three months after revealing that they were going to be parents. The Full House alum says that he’s “over the moon” about the next chapter.
“My whole life I’ve waited for this moment and the best part is I’m getting to parent with the most perfect woman. She’s just humble and sweet … I have to watch her because it takes her thirty seconds to win somebody over,” he adds. “She’s a really special person.”

The couple know the gender of their baby, but is keeping it a secret for now. “I thought it was going to be X and when it turned out to be Y, I was like, ‘What?!'” he recalls to Us. “She’s already talking about baby number two. We just sort of finished decorating the house, or designing the house. She’s already on the internet looking at new homes that are bigger!”
As for what they may call their baby-to-be? “Saget,” he cracks. “I think we’re going to name our kid Saget.”
Stamos’ longtime friend Bob Saget, meanwhile, is elated for his costar. “It’s beautiful. He’s always wanted to be a dad, always,” he told Us on Wednesday night.
Candace Cameron Bure chimed in: “He will be amazing. He’s always great with all of the babies he’s worked with and kids and nieces and nephews and our kids and all the kids on the show. He’s going to be a great dad. We’ve all been looking forward to this for a long time for him.”
