The reality star added that she feels “kind of dumb” for giving their 3-week-old son, Creed, his dad’s last name. “He said that was the one thing that he wanted was for me to give the baby his last name, [but] I don’t know that it helped change anything in this situation as far as, like, parenting,” the “Coffee Convos” podcast host explained.

The on-again, off-again couple, who also share son Lux, 3, were both present for Creed’s July 30 birth, although Lowry initially didn’t want Lopez there for the sake of her “mental health.”

I was very afraid that if I didn’t include him that I would regret it,” the A Letter of Love author explained to Us. “I don’t think that I could feel good about myself knowing that I didn’t give him the opportunity to be there. I feel like if I gave him the opportunity and he chose not to, that would be on him. … But I’m glad that he was there.”

The Pothead Haircare creator went on to say, “I wished that things weren’t the way they are now, but it is what it is.”

The Pennsylvania native, who also shares son Isaac, 9, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and son Lincoln, 6, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, said she’s “thankful” that their coparenting situations haven’t “changed a whole lot during quarantine [amid the coronavirus pandemic].”

The former couples, however, “don’t see eye to eye when it comes to going back to school,” the Hustle and Heart author went on to say. “That’s been a little bit challenging to try to figure out how it’s going to work, how we’re going to send our kids back, what does that look like for us? … But right now, I’m good with Joe, I’m good with Javi, and I’m hoping that it stays like this for awhile.”

Season 10 of Teen Mom 2 returns to MTV on Tuesday, September 1, at 8 p.m. ET.
