All grown up! Kate Gosselin’s kids are nearly unrecognizable in a back-to-school photo shared by the mother of eight.
“This was yesterday!” the 43-year-old Kate Plus 8 alum wrote on Instagram Thursday, August 23. “Feels like school never ended…and they’re already back! #SeniorYear #EighthGrade #ProudMom.”
In the shot, five of Gosselin’s children — she shares twins Mady and Cara, 17, and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel, 14, with ex-husband Jon Gosselin — stand on the steps in front of their house as the younger kids wear school uniforms and the older girls don maroon dresses.
Kate also shared a pic of the notes — on cards emblazoned with “You are the apple of my eye” — she wrote the twins. “Happy 1st day of senior year!” the message read. “I love you sooo much! Love, Mommy.”
Collin and Hannah are noticeably absent from the snap. The former is enrolled in a program away from home, while the latter lives with her father full-time, according to Jon. (The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars divorced in 2009 after 10 years of marriage.)
The 41-year-old DJ rang in Collin and Hannah’s birthday earlier this year with pizza and cake. “Glad I could celebrate my son Collin’s 14th birthday with him and his sister!” he captioned an Instagram photo of the three in May. Jon also wished the other sextuplets well in a separate post.
