Nobody does a cover-up like Olivia Pope. Kerry Washington hid any evidence of a baby bump during her appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, Oct. 31, one day after Us Weekly exclusively revealed that the Scandal star is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha.
Wearing a strategically roomy white tank with side slits and black embellishments, paired with a matching calf-length skirt and black cat ears, the Emmy-nominated actress kept her belly — and her baby joy — under wraps. Instead, she and Fallon talked about costumes, her work on Scandal, and her upcoming gig on Saturday Night Live.
Asked whether she likes dressing up for Halloween, the Django Unchained star replied with a very definitive no. "I hate it. I hate it," she told Fallon. "I dress up as other people for a living all year long, so on Halloween, I like to be myself."
"And nobody gives me candy for dressing up all year long," she joked. "It's not fair."
As Us revealed earlier this week, the brunette beauty is set to welcome a baby sometime next year. "She's about four months along," a source said of the star, who married Asomugha in a top-secret ceremony in Idaho at the end of June.
