What’s the rush? Khloe Kardashian has had a whirlwind past month and she’s now dishing on whether or not she and boyfriend Tristan Thompson have decided on a middle name for their baby girl.
The 33-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star penned a post to her Khloe with a K blog on Friday, May 18, to share the details.
“True doesn’t have a middle name — for now. It was enough pressure to pick a first name!” the Strong Looks Better Naked author wrote. “I have a couple of names in mind, I’m just not completely sure about it yet.”
Kardashian — who welcomed her first child with the NBA star in April — revealed that “I plan to take my time and decide if I’ll give her one at all,” noting that she “can add it at any time and it’s easy to get on the birth certificate.”
The reality star revealed in a post on May 14, that it was a close family member who first suggested the unique name for her daughter.
“My grandma MJ suggested True. She told me it was my great-grandfather’s first name and my grandfather’s middle name,” Kardashian wrote of Kris Jenner’s mom. “It stuck with me for my entire pregnancy and was the only one I couldn’t get out of my head.”
The Good American founder, who currently resides in Cleveland where Thompson, 26, plays for the hometown team, also added that she can’t wait to get back to L.A. so True can finally meet MJ in person!”
Kardashian first announced the baby’s name in a heartfelt post to Instagram just four days after she gave birth. “Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE,” she wrote. “Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”
Earlier this month, a source told Us Weekly that the couple had decided on the name prior to Kardashian giving birth.
“True had already been picked for a while,” the source told Us. “She went into labor not even knowing the full scope of the cheating so the option of changing her name wasn’t even brought up. It’s too much for one person to deal with during the crazy time.”
As previously reported, news of the basketball player’s infidelity broke just two days prior to the birth of their first child after photos and videos of Thompson cheating began to surface.
