An OC baby is on the way! Real Housewives of Orange County alum Lydia McLaughlin is pregnant with her third child, her rep tells Us Weekly exclusively. Due in November, Lydia and husband Doug’s baby-to-be joins big brothers Stirling, 5, and Maverick, 3. Naturally, “Lydia is hoping for a girl!” the rep tells Us. “Both Lydia and Doug are so excited to be adding to their beautiful family.”
Beautiful is right! Cradling her (still teeny tiny!) baby bump in photos exclusive to Us, Lydia, 33, poses alongside her three special guys, plus the family dog Sonny, with Stirling and Maverick adorably holding up their birth order signs.
Come 2015, Lydia, who co-owns Beverly Hills Lifestyle mag with Doug, 33, has yet another big arrival: Her first book! The quirky, chilled-out former Bravo star is currently in talks to publish an inspirational tome that doubles as a personal memoir and a Bible study course.
As Us exclusively revealed last November, McLaughlin left RHOC after just one season, opting out of joining vets Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow for season nine. “It’s bittersweet,” the Canadian native told Us at the time. “I compare it to breaking up with a boyfriend you know you’re not going to end up with — it’s hard, but overall you know you’re doing the right thing.”
Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi were fired after season eight, and next Monday’s RHOC season premiere introduces newcomer Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rovsek.
