Thinking ahead! Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and Maryse Mizanin opened up about the steps they’re taking in case they want a third child.
“We might’ve visited the sperm bank,” the Canadian star, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly on Monday, August 31. “Just because we like to make sure that if something happens, if we want to have another baby, we can.”
Her husband, 39, added that they have also had “discussions” about him getting a vasectomy. “I’m probably getting my balls snipped,” the Cannonball host explained. “I haven’t yet. We’re just talking about it.”
The Ohio native, who share daughters Monroe, 2, and Madison, 11 months, always “wanted a herd of kids” — until they had two of their own.
“We were like, ‘Let’s have four or five kids,’ [but] now we want to make sure that each kid feels the love and support from us,” Mike told Us. “And we want to make sure that we have the time to spend with them.”
Their eldest daughter has been experiencing “jealousy,” lately, he went on to tell Us. “You can tell she wants to be held, but one of us is holding Madison. And she’s like, ‘Mommy, Mommy, I want to be held.’ And it’s like, ‘Oh, man, what if we have like four or five of these kids? We don’t have three or four arms to do that with.’”
When it comes to The Miz & Mrs. stars quarantining with their girls amid the coronavirus pandemic, Mike has been teaching Monroe to swim.
He explained, “Monroe will scream, ‘I want to go in the pool, I want to go in the pool!’ So I’ve been dedicating myself to really teaching her how to swim because having a pool at your house, it’s nerve-racking when your kid doesn’t know how to swim.”
As for Maryse, the Total Divas alum is teaching the little ones French. “They learn so fast,” she told Us. “It’s crazy from week to week, [Monroe is] now making sentences. My goal is for them to speak fluent in French and [have] Mike not be able to understand them.”
The actor joked that his wife’s plans are “working so far.”
